Algiers 7 - 8 November 2012

The Third African Conference on Quality Management in Nuclear Industry and Research Laboratories will be organized by the Nuclear Research Centre of Algiers, in Collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) through the African Regional Cooperative Agreement (AFRA) project RAF/0/027.

This Conference is aiming atreviewing the current status of quality system implementation in AFRA countries, to augment recognition of ISO standard implementation and its benefits for international trade and communication in Africa and abroad, and to stimulate national authorities to support metrology and accreditation infrastructure in their respective countries.

A number of international expertswill be present to report about international standards, regulations and developments in support of Quality Management in industry and research.

Representatives of African national standardization and accreditation authorities are cordially invited to attend the Conference and present the status of quality management implementation, achievements and obstacles observed, and suggest means for further strengthening adoption of ISO standards in African countries. Participants are cordially invited to attend the Conference and to present scientific papers.

All contributions to the Conference will be peer reviewed and eventually published in the Conference proceedings. Authors are requested to submit their abstracts by email, not later than September 20th 2012 (see registration)
